The Market gives an opportunity for artists to be in direct and physical contact to customers. It is an avenue for them to make their careers sustainable and build a following beyond digital arenas.

These are grandiose fixtures coming from the imaginative minds of illustrators for people to experience the art beyond the pages of a book. It is for the audiences to be struck by wonder and awe of what is before them, transporting their minds through these designed spaces.

These are “Festival Commissioned Projects” meaning these installations would be commissioned or supported by brands, organizations or individuals.

WORKSHOPS

This is an opportunity for both illustrators and audiences to learn new skills from expert facilitators whether they want to engage in a new hobby or further their career.

THE PLAYGROUND

This is a space for the kids to play, bringing back and designing games from childhood such as square, police and thief, hopscotch, tinko, hide and seek, the jangelova (swing) seesaw, slide, etc.

LATE AT THE BAZAAR

L.A.T.B. is an evening event for mature Individuals featuring live music, DJ sets and much more. It is a night to move your body, connect and be free.

The Illustrator Cohort is a strong and supportive community that champions illustration as an art form and fosters career growth for artists. We envision a dedicated hub for African illustrators and the global creative community, providing a space for learning, networking, and sustainable career advancement.
